About the journal

The journal of “Applied Photonics” is a peer-reviewed scientific publication aiming at practical developments and application of theoretical studies of optical and laser issues.

The journal of “Applied Photonics” is registered by the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media (Roskomnadzor), Certificate PE Nr. FS77-59184 of September 03, 2014.

The journal is included into the project “Russian Science Citation Index”.

The journal publishes papers in the following areas of study:

Technology and properties of optical components

Sources, receivers and transducers of optical emission

Optical communications

Optical sensors and information systems

Laser technologies of material processing

Photonics in biology and medicine

Radio photonics

Upon the agreement with the Editorial Board review papers of the specified areas of study can also be published in the journal.

The papers that have undergone peer-review are published free of charge.

The journal is published 4 times a year.
